Our Garage Story:

We spent years navigating the challenges of product discovery as retailer ourselves. We felt the sting of suboptimal search, watched customers struggle with ineffective recommendations, and grappled with outdated taxonomies. This frustration wasn’t unique; it was a shared experience across the industry.

Fueled by this common challenge, a team of seasoned retail veterans, partners, and executives came together. We combined our deep understanding of user behavior with cutting-edge technology to build a better solution: Findbar.

Findbar wasn’t born in a boardroom, but in the real-world struggles of navigating online discovery. With a life-long addiction to coding and more than 20 years of retail & eCommerce experience, Dimitris is in a constant quest for innovation. As CEO & CTO of one of the leading footwear companies in Greece for the last 10 years, he has a deep understanding of the challenges and merits of online entrepreneurship and is always eager to create meaningful and focused software solutions.

Michael has dedicated the majority of his career to driving business change across major organizations, such as Lidl, OTE Group, and AS Company. He brings 17+ years of experience in seeing complicated transformation initiatives becoming a reality and delivering tangible value, with a particular emphasis on the retail and e-commerce sectors where he has played a pivotal role in shaping the majority of his projects and roles.

Nikos Varvadoukas

Nikos Varvadoukas is the VP of Brand, Customer & Omnichannel at the Public Group, also serving as a Non-Executive Board Member and investor in dynamic startups (Douleutaras, Convert Group, Moveo.ai, Blinq, etc.). He has extensive experience as an executive and advisor in the fields of Omnichannel Commerce, Customer Experience & Supply Chain (GERMANOS, Cosmos Sport, DIAGEO, Philip Morris/IQOS, My Market). He graduated from the Department of Business Research and Marketing at the Athens University of Economics and Business, holds an MBA majoring in finance from the University of Piraeus, and has completed an executive course in Business Model Innovation at Imperial College.

George Goumpouros

George Goumpouros has extensive experience as an advisor in the fields of Marketing & Customer Experience in the Tourism Industry. His unwavering commitment to excellence, combined with his passion for strategic planning and customer centricity, positions him as a trusted advisor in his field.

In 2020 graduated from the department of Marketing & Communication of the Athens University of Economics and Business and managed a career pivoting by investing in Start Up & Scale up companies.
